These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of thecrosswiredaily.com, our RSS/API feeds, our newsletters, and any other product or service that links to these Terms (collectively, the “Services”), operated by The Crosswire Daily (“Crosswire Daily,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. We may change, add to, or remove portions of these Terms at any time by posting an updated version with a new “Last Updated” date; continued use of the Services after a change is posted constitutes your acceptance of it. Your access to the Services may be supported by advertising, and your exposure to ads is a condition of that access.
All content on the Services — articles, headlines, galleries, graphics, video, and the selection and arrangement of that content — is owned by The Crosswire Daily LLC or its licensors and is protected by US and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Licensed images, including AP Newsroom imagery, remain the property of their respective rights holders and are used under license; we are not responsible for the accuracy of wire content we did not independently report.
No AI or machine-learning use without permission. You may not use any content from the Services to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or otherwise develop any artificial intelligence or machine-learning model, including through automated scraping, text-and-data mining, or retrieval-augmented generation, without our prior written consent.
If you submit a tip, comment, photo, or other content to us (“User Content”), you must not post material that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory, or that impersonates another person. By submitting User Content, you grant The Crosswire Daily a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and distribute that User Content in any medium, in connection with our editorial and promotional operations. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to submit the content and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights.
You may not:
The Services and their content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nothing on the Services — including our Money, Health, or Opinion coverage — constitutes legal, financial, medical, or investment advice, and should not be relied upon as such.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Crosswire Daily LLC and its officers, employees, and contributors from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your misuse of the Services.
If you register for a newsletter or, in the future, an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. You agree to notify us promptly at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
The Services are currently provided free of charge, supported by advertising. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future; if we do, we will provide advance notice before charging you, and you will not be charged without your agreement.
Advertisers served through Google Ad Manager and our syndication partner, the MSN Partner Hub. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of third-party sites or platforms. Inclusion of a link or ad does not imply our endorsement.
If we make a mobile application or other downloadable software available, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use it on a device you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from our software except as permitted by law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 2 (Content), 3 (User-Generated Content license), 5 (Liability), and 12 (Arbitration) — will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to the arbitration agreement in Section 12, any claim not resolved through arbitration or eligible for small-claims court will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas (Houston), and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts
(A) Agreement to arbitrate. Except for disputes that qualify for small-claims court or that seek only injunctive relief to protect intellectual property or confidential information, you and The Crosswire Daily LLC agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services through binding, individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, rather than in court.
(B) Informal resolution first. Before filing an arbitration demand, you agree to first send a written description of the dispute to [email protected] and allow at least 60 days for us to attempt to resolve it informally.
(C) Class action and jury trial waiver. You and The Crosswire Daily LLC each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class, collective, or representative action. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims and may not otherwise preside over any form of a class or representative proceeding.
(D) Location and costs. Arbitration will be conducted in Harris County, Texas, or, at your election, by videoconference or on the papers. AAA’s Consumer Arbitration Rules govern the allocation of arbitration fees; we will pay any fees the rules require us to pay.
(E) Right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of the date you first agree to these Terms by sending written notice to [email protected] with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out,” including your name and the email address associated with your use of the Services. If you opt out, neither you nor Crosswire Daily is bound by this Section 12, and disputes will proceed under Section 11 instead.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice to our copyright agent that includes: identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, a statement that the notice is accurate under penalty of perjury, and your physical or electronic signature
